Steven "schilo" Pienaar announced his retirement from international football, he says the reason behind his decision is fatigue though it has not gone down well with many saying its hard to believe that a player of Pienaar's calibre would take such drastic steps before a major international game on home turf.
It is also said that Pienaar assaulted Thabang Mnisi, the son of Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration Ayanda Dlodlo in a Johannesburg nightclub, but denies the charge.
