ANC NEEDS CHANGE SAYS YOUTH LEAGUE!!

President Jacob "Gedleyihlekisa" Zuma must step down, According to a website launched on Wednesday the website named "Forces of Change" and listed five reasons why change was needed. One of them being that change is needed because South Africans do not have confidence in the leadership of President Zuma.

"We need a leadership that will lead the ANC towards quality and durable change, towards an ideal as set out in the freedom charter, which remains strategic vision and mission".

"A leadership that will regain the confidence of all Africans on the African continent. We believe that this will be best obtained by the following leadership structure, which is tried and tested and open to strutiny."

It is not clear who's behind the creation of the website, ANC spokesperson Keith Khoza said "the party had not seen the website and that there is no website that can serve as a substitute to the role of the ANC branches."

Khoza said anyone who used these types of platforms would not succeed.

PIENAAR QUITS BAFANA BAFANA!!

Steven "schilo" Pienaar announced his retirement from international football, he says the reason behind his decision is fatigue though it has not gone down well with many saying its hard to believe that a player of Pienaar's calibre would take such drastic steps before a major international game on home turf.

It is also said that Pienaar assaulted Thabang Mnisi, the son of Deputy Minister of Public Service and Administration Ayanda Dlodlo in a Johannesburg nightclub, but denies the charge. This is a huge blow for Bafana Bafana says coach Gordon Igesund but the door will not be shut if ever he changes his mind Igesund further stated.

Club versus country wrangles are nothing new, there are many players who found it difficult to juggle their commitments, the likes of Shaun Bartlet, Mark Fish, Lucas Radebe and Quinton Fortune even though none of them officially quit the team early.

PITSO GETS THE BOOT

Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane saturday night got fired after a long dry spell not getting results since he took charge from Brazilian coach Alberto Pareira after the world cup in 2010. Mosimane has been recently criticised for not giving local players much game time.

His sacking came as no surprise to many as they said it was long overdue and inevitable, but he (mosimane) defended himself by saying his cries for the set-up of development structures fell into deff ears and further said that he did very well as the head coach better than most before him. South African football association (SAFA) boss said saturday's draw with Euthopia was the last straw and they had no choice but to relieve him off his duties, Mr Peterson said they wish him well on his future endervous.

THE BLUES MAKE HISTORY!!

Chelsea have made history by taking the UEFA champion's league for the first time at the ALLIANS ARENA in MUNICH on saturday, it started as normal easy game in what many had anticipated as the best game of the century. the odds were always stacked against the blues as Bayern Munich had a home advantage.

the game went to extra time and eventually ended in a stalemate with either side finding the back of the net, bayern should have wrapped it up when they got a penalty in the first half of extra time when franck ribbery was brouhgt down in the box by didier drogba and the forward stepped up to take it but it seems chelsea's peter chech had brought his A game when he took it comfortably.

it was inevitable that dematteo's were destined to take the trophy when it went to penalty shoot-outs and won it there.
