Thulani Serero is out injured for the rest of the year due to a groin muscle and is likely to be back for his team Ajax Amsterdam of  Netherlands after the winter break. But the South African coach Gordon Igesund has said if he (Serero) can make a speedy recovery there is a chance that he would be selected for the squad.

The SAFA medical stuff is in contact with Ajax and will review their assessment soon. Serero has played very well for his team since the season started and made an impressive perfomance for Bafana on their clash against Brazil.

PARALYMPIC TEAM SUCCESSFUL IN THE OLYMPICS.

South African team was very triumphant in this year's olympics bagging 29 medals in total, they did not do quite aswell as in Beijing where dthey came home with 30 medals in total. the good news for our disabled team though was that they would get the same incentives as the abled team who participated in this years olympics which were also held in London.

Minister of sports Fikile Mbalula announced that a gold medalist would receive 480.000, silver would get 260.000 and bronze receiving 80.000 which was good news considering that the paralympic team was the most successful. the team came home to a warm welcome when they touched down in O.R Tambo Airport last night, Natalie du toit who bagged a gold and silver could not hold back her tears when she saw the crowd that came out in numbers to welcome them.

Oscar Pistorious whose a double amputee came home with gold and silver aswell in the 200m he took gold and silver in the 100m.
