DLAMINI-ZUMA TRIUMPHANT AFTER A.U ELECTIONS.

Home Affairs Minister Nkosazana Dlaminin-Zuma became the first woman to chair the african union commission(a.u.c) after receiving 37 out of 51 votes on sunday, the news came as no suprise because she has been getting more votes than Gabonese Foreign Minister Dr Jean Ping, Dlamini-Zuma only needed two thirds of the vote of elections to take the seat.

The 19th ordinary session of the assembly of the (A.U) meeting was held at the new headquartres in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. President Jacob Zuma was "humbled" by the Home Affairs Minister's triumph he said "Our people should take pride that the heads of state and government of the AU have elected Dlamini-Zuma as the new chairperson of the commission".
